In a survey of young people commissioned by Knowsley Safeguarding Children Board a range of issues were identified that highlighted the need to better equip School Designated Safeguarding Leads and Governors with practical approaches to help assist them in providing support to children and young people dealing with the impact of trauma and mental health problems.
