Safer Internet Day 2017 is being celebrated globally today, Tuesday 7th February, with the theme ‘Be the change: unite for a better internet’. Please see the following link for more information: https://www.saferinternet.org.uk/safer-internet-day/2017

Keeping children safe online is a growing area of concern and to address this the KSCB are holding a 60 Minute Briefing being delivered by Merseyside Police. This is taking place on 24th February 12-1pm. You will need to be registered and book via the KSCB Training Booking Portal https://kscbtraining.knowsley.gov.uk/

Keeping in line with the theme of social media and technology we wanted to share the following document with you. Sexting in Schools and Colleges: It focuses on responding to incidents and is written by the UK Council for Child Internet Safety. Although it is targeted at education staff, any practitioner will find a wealth of information inside that will help you deal with this issue.
